Stroke is a medical emergency. Seeking urgent treatment in the event of a stroke is vital to minimize damage to the brain. Learn to spot the signs and symptoms of stroke so you’re prepared to act quickly — for yourself and others. You’ll also get tips for stroke prevention.
Please join us for this event with The Pacific Stroke Association featuring Nancy Houston Miller, BSN, who spent decades with Stanford University School of Medicine’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. Presented by Seniors At Home in collaboration with the Peninsula JCC.

Nancy Houston Miller, BSN, Principal and Co-Founder, The Life Care Company
Nancy Houston Miller has 25 years experience in directing major clinical research trials in prevention and cardiac rehabilitation, as well as training nurses and other health care professionals in this field. She spent decades with Stanford University School of Medicine’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. Nancy attended the University of Washington School of Nursing where she received her Bachelor of Science degree.
