Dementia Care

Dementia Care

Through the Seniors At Home Center for Dementia Care, our experts provide specialized in-home support for people experiencing Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, as well as practical and emotional support for their families.

Our Center for Dementia Care is comprised of social workers/care managers, trained caregivers, and a neurologist.

We build customized dementia care plans to support quality of life and honor the unique identity of every client with dignity and compassion. We have an extensive list of services for dementia home care.

  • Specialized in-home support with routine dementia care needs
  • Consultations to support families in navigating medical care
  • Guidance in planning a dementia directive
  • Cognitive capacity evaluations
  • Education about dementia and memory impairment for families
  • Training for in home dementia care attendants and other professionals who work with clients experiencing dementia

“Seniors at Home has been a godsend for us.”

A Unique Approach to Dementia Care

Our approach to dementia and memory care centers on the strengths and abilities of each individual in our care. We provide customized dementia care plans designed to support quality of life, help prevent fluctuations in mood and behavior, and honor the unique identity of every client.

Support for Loved Ones

When a loved one has dementia, it can often be a challenging adjustment for the whole family. Through one-on-one consultations, local events and ongoing support, we give families the education, encouragement, and practical tools they need to navigate the path ahead.

All Seniors At Home caregivers are trained in memory care, and our team provides ongoing, one-on-one support to caregivers in the homes of those experiencing memory loss.

Memory Cafe

Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). These gatherings and activities are created to benefit the person with dementia as well as those providing care, and the activities are designed to engage and support both simultaneously.

“I have no words to properly express how grateful I am for everything the Center for Dementia Care has done for my father and for me. Thank you for your patience, kindness and support.”
