Human connection is just good medicine! Our friendly volunteers, provided through Jewish Family and Children’s Services, are here to provide Seniors At Home clients extra care, company and support to create better health outcomes and enhance well being.
Friendly Visitors
Compassionate adult volunteers are carefully matched with a Seniors At Home client in need of some extra support, based on location and common interests. Regular visits often lead to a lasting and meaningful friendship.

Safe At Home Calls
For senior clients who live alone and seek reassurance or companionship, our Safe At Home volunteers can call twice a week to check in and make sure that all is well.
Canine Corps
Our Canine Corps dogs (and their humans) graduate from our training program and are matched with a Seniors At Home client near them. Regular visits offer warmth and companionship to an animal lover who may no longer be able to care for one at home.
Holiday Outreach
Through Jewish Family and Children’s Services, caring volunteers assemble holiday bags full of food and treats and deliver them to clients who are celebrating the Jewish holiday.
