Becky Jones
San Francisco, Marin County
Becky has over 40 years of experience working in the field of human services with a focus on persons with disabilities and youth aging out of foster care. In the past 3 years, Becky has received her certification as an End-of-Life Educator and Advanced Care Planner through the International Doula Life Movement. She has followed a path from Iowa to San Diego to San Francisco. She has been with Seniors At Home for over a year as a Personal Assistant. Becky thoroughly enjoys working with seniors and hopes she brings as much joy to those she supports as they bring to her every day.

Gayle Ginsburg
San Francisco
Gayle has spent the last eleven years working with older adults to facilitate a safe and nurturing home environment. Following a career in operations with major corporations, this shift has allowed her to focus on working with people in the most rewarding work of her career. Organization, errands, home improvement projects, gardening — no project is too big or too small. Gayle’s best days are spent helping her clients achieve goals and rediscover things they enjoyed in their more independent lives.

Jake Buckley
Peninsula
Jake has seven years of experience as a caregiver, working with special needs children and adults, as well as clients living with dementia and Alzheimer’s. He is outgoing, quick on his feet, and very calm and patient. His goal is to connect with clients and support them in making everyday tasks feel smooth, fun, and safe. Originally from San Diego, he enjoys hiking, playing sports including tennis and soccer, exploring new restaurants, and expressing himself through art.

Jeff Chin

Jeff is a retired software management professional who has worked at a wide variety of companies, ranging from Fortune 500 to early startups. He is an extremely organized, task-oriented person who loves to help people and get things done. Relishing being away from corporate life, Jeff now spends his time hanging out with friends, exercising, playing tennis/pickleball, working on his cars, fixing things around the house, enjoying good food & wine, and discovering new cocktail recipes.

Joel Gile

Joel is a San Francisco native who somehow manages to juggle fatherhood, real estate, and a lifelong love affair with ballpark hot dogs. Once a race car driver and mechanic, he now channels his problem-solving skills into life’s bigger puzzles—like convincing his kids that coffee is for grown-ups and that dad really does know best. Equal parts gearhead, athlete, and gentleman of leisure, Joel brings an eclectic blend of interests to his work with older adults, where he’s known as a pillar of kindness and calm – with a well-timed joke always at the ready!

Laurie Reese
Marin County, Sonoma County
Laurie is a seasoned service professional with over 15 years of experience supporting families. Drawing on a unique background in hospitality and film and television production, she brings organization, kindness, and creativity to every role. Laurie has overseen estates, coordinated vendors and staff, and provided seamless personal assistance to people navigating life transitions. Known for her “professional daughter” approach, she blends lifestyle management and compassionate care, and if needed, end-of-life support. Laurie has a Juilliard dance education, a deep appreciation for the arts, travel, and wellness, and is also an INELDA Trained Death Doula.

Leah Baron
San Francisco
Leah is a long-time contributor to Seniors at Home. In fact, her first job as a teenager was with the program and she volunteered for years. Leah joined the team as a Personal Assistant in September 2024. Her style is enthusiastic, collaborative, and connection-oriented. She loves engaging in meaningful conversations with her clients. Leah has worked in case management for domestic violence survivors and is currently pursuing her PhD in clinical psychology. In the future, she hopes to serve seniors in a therapeutic capacity.

Mary Kay Paul
Peninsula
Mary Kay is passionate about enhancing the well-being of older adults. Whether it be organizing, socializing, shopping, doctors visits, or technical help- she does it all! In her free time Mary Kay enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her husband, three daughters and their golden retriever Franklin.

Richard Carlton, MPH
San Francisco, Marin County
Richard spent most of his career in the mental health field, helping attorneys manage the stress of their work and personal lives. He feels that his work life has now come full circle, as his first employment (while attending Lowell High School) was working for a senior couple after school, helping them with errands and driving to appointments. He found this opportunity with Seniors At Home through the Jewish Bulletin.

Robert Abate
San Francisco, Peninsula, Marin, Sonoma
Robert has many years of experience supporting older adults, particularly those living with memory loss, dementia, and chronic medical conditions. His background spans senior housing, behavioral health, and public health, where he has assisted with medications, appointments, scheduling, and daily tasks while also providing companionship and encouragement. He volunteers with Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and the San Francisco Police Department’s Auxiliary Response Team. He brings patience, warmth, and a steady presence to every role.
