Michelle Dowds is an experienced social work and sales professional with more than 20 years of expertise spanning medical social work, healthcare business development and program planning. She holds a master’s degree in social work and a bachelor’s in psychology. She excels at building relationships, developing community programs, and navigating complex healthcare systems to improve outcomes for individuals and families.
Before joining Seniors At Home, Michelle built a strong foundation in senior care services through her work in sales and marketing for an assisted living community, where she drove revenue, improved resident experience and strengthened professional partnerships. She also spent time on an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team in a hospital setting, collaborating with physicians, therapists, and families to support patient recovery and safe transitions of care.
Michelle currently serves on the steering committee for Marin Aging Action and is the Co-Chair for the San Francisco–Marin Region of the National Association of Social Workers (California Chapter).
