Elder Abuse: Recognize the Signs of Abuse and Financial Exploitation

In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, Seniors At Home is proud to present a panel discussion about the different forms of elder abuse and financial exploitation, what’s being done to address it, and what you can do when an older adult in your life might need help.

SPEAKERS
Amal Allan, Vice President, City National Bank
Amal Allan is a banking professional with over 24 years of experience in retail banking. At City National Bank, she enjoys assisting consumer and business clients with their financial needs. She has a special interest in educating the public about financial topics and is a frequent speaker about elder fraud, elder abuse, and financial literacy.
Kate Blank, LCSW, Clinical Care Manager and Therapist, Seniors At Home
Kate holds a MSW from Arizona State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). After obtaining her master’s degree, she worked with survivors of domestic violence for a number of years before transitioning to medical social work. Kate joined Seniors At Home in 2015 and relishes the opportunity to provide her clients with ongoing support and advocacy in a community setting.
