Memory Cafe in San Rafael — 11/17/2024

Seniors with memory loss and their caregivers are invited to join us for a special Sunday afternoon of enjoying art and sharing a light lunch.

Caring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.

About this outing: Enjoy this afternoon of art, led by Suzanne Reich. We’ll start with a short session of observation and conversation, then join in art-making together, taking inspiration from the artwork we’ve examined. We’ll explore a variety of materials and techniques. No previous art experience is required. A light lunch will be provided.
