Memory Cafe in San Francisco — 5/6/2025
Tuesday, May 6 @ 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Free
Please join us for a docent-led tour at the de Young museum with the theme “Movement and Stability” where we’ll view collage, photography, sculpture and weaving.
Caring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment.
About this outing: We’ll move through the galleries experiencing collage, photography, sculpture, and weaving and learn how different artists use their mediums to convey stability and movement.
Memory Cafe meets in San Francisco at different locations. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.
RSVP in advance to Amy Takemoto by emailing her at: MemoryCafe@jfcs.org.
