Join us for a docent led tour at the De Young Museum as we explore “In the Big City”. City life is a vibrant, fast-paced experience marked by a wide array of opportunities. However, it also involves high living costs, crowding, constant activity, and potential noise and pollution, creating a complex lifestyle that offers both exciting advantages and significant drawback. Artists have always been fascinated with life in the city, let’s see how four American artists depict this unique experience.

Caring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment.

San Francisco Memory Cafe meets on many Tuesdays at different locations. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.

To RSVP contact Amy Takemoto at Memorycafe@jfcs.org. Please indicate the date of the event and which Memory Café event you are responding to in the email. Looking forward to seeing you there. Thank you.
