Memory Cafe in San Francisco — 11/17/2025
Monday, November 17 @ 12:45pm – 2:30pm
Free
Join us for a docent tour of the special exhibition The Art of Manga at the de Young. Manga — Japanese comics and graphic novels — have become a global phenomenon. Featuring rarely presented original drawings by major artists, this exhibition showcases the world of manga from the 1970s to today.
Caring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Memory Cafe meets in San Francisco at different locations. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.
RSVP by November 11 for this special event by emailing Amy Takemoto at MemoryCafe@jfcs.org.
About this outing: Please note the main entrance to the de Young will be closed. You may enter the building through the Education Entrance or the Garage Entrance. Here is information about getting to the de Young: famsf.org/visit/getting-to-the-de-young.
