Memory Cafe in San Francisco — 10/28/2025
Tuesday, October 28 @ 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Free
Join us at Ruth’s Table Curious Minds program for an inspiring mixed-media workshop with Bill Bruckner, an artist, educator and longtime San Francisco resident. No art experience needed!
Caring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment.
About this outing: With a rich 40-year artistic journey spanning solar and lunar cycles, cityscapes, portraits of people with disabilities, skies, seas, and evolving abstractions, Bill Bruckner brings a deeply personal and expansive perspective to process and creative expression. In this gathering, we’ll look at the fun and fascinating baskets being exhibited at Ruth’s Table, discuss what we see and then make our own art inspired by these wonderful baskets.
San Francisco Memory Cafe meets on many Tuesdays at different locations. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.
Please RSVP in advance to Amy Takemoto by emailing her at: MemoryCafe@jfcs.org.
