Caring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment.
The number of openings for this special event is very limited so please RSVP as soon as possible while there is still space, and RSVP no later than October 8. RSVP to Amy Takemoto by emailing her at: MemoryCafe@jfcs.org.
People who have pre-registered with Amy for the event and received a confirmation from her will meet at the steps of the San Francisco Public Library main branch, on the Fulton Street side between Larkin and Hyde Streets. Please do not bring backpacks or large bags because we need to go through City Hall security screening. Wheelchair-accessible entrances for City Hall are located on Van Ness Avenue and Grove Street.
San Francisco Memory Cafe meets on many Tuesdays at different locations. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.
