Memory Cafe in San Francisco — 1/14/2025
Tuesday, January 14 @ 1:00pm – 3:00pm
FreeJoin us at Ruth’s Table Curious Minds program to view the art of David Lee, a longtime artist whose works find harmony between eastern and western techniques and subject matters. David and his daughter Katherine are also regular Curious Minds participants!
Caring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment.
About this event: This event will be co-hosted by Curious Minds participants Katherine Lee and her father David. David is a longtime artist whose life traversed the globe and whose artworks find harmony between eastern and western techniques and subject matters. This event will include a pop-up gallery featuring David’s paintings and draw on the fresh energy that only the New Year brings! Let’s deepen our shared sense of community through intergenerational storytelling while experiencing David’s compelling artworks and life story. We’ll also envision what 2025 and The Year of the Snake may activate for us.
San Francisco Memory Cafe meets on many Tuesdays at different locations. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.
