Have you ever wanted to learn to make pottery on a wheel? Here’s your chance! We’ll make simple items like bowls, cups and vases on a wheel in this workshop. No experience needed.
Caring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.
About this outing: No experience needed! Staff will trim, glaze and fire your pieces and your finished pottery will be ready for pickup after three weeks. Wear old clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting clay on.
Memory Cafe meets on many Thursdays in Marin at different locations. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.
