Memory Cafe in Marin — 10/22/2025

Wednesday, October 22 @ 1:00pm3:00pm

Free

Join us at the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art to view the art exhibition ART FWD: 5x5x5 which celebrates Bay Area artists and the world that inspires them.

Caring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses, family members, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment.

About this outing:  This ART FWD: 5x5x5 exhibition is a vibrant, multi-tiered series celebrating Bay Area artists and the world that inspires them. Discover how the Bay Area’s leading artists find inspiration, support one another, and sustain the dynamic arts community that propels our region’s unique culture. The centerpiece of ART FWD: 5x5x5 is a groundbreaking exhibition featuring 155 interconnected artists. Here, artists are in the driver’s seat, led by their knowledge, intuition, material know-how, and keen eye for great art. At ART FWD: 5x5x5, five renowned artists — Saif Azzuz, Arleene Correa Valencia, Liam Everett, Isabella Kirkland, and Barry McGee — each selected five artists, who each chose five more. The result is a dazzling constellation of diverse artworks that together paint a portrait of Bay Area artistry and creative kinship.

Memory Cafe meets on many Thursdays in Marin at different locations. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver.

RSVP in advance to Amy Takemoto by emailing her at: MemoryCafe@jfcs.org.

Memory Cafe in Marin is sponsored by the JFCS Marin Donor Circle.
