The Center for Dementia Care team at Seniors At Home has traveled the world in search of cutting-edge treatments. Please join us to hear from our experts about their immersive training experience at The Hogeweyk, a world-famous memory care community in Amsterdam.

We’ll explore the immense benefits that come from putting autonomy at the center of caring for those with advanced dementia, and how to help individuals with dementia live with dignity, purpose, and joy.

Registration is free. The Zoom link for the event will be sent to registrants the day before the event.

SPEAKERS

Andrea KorsunskyAndrea Korsunsky, BSW, Director, Center for Dementia Care, Seniors At Home

Ms. Korsunsky has over 20 years’ experience in the field, including directly supporting people with dementia in her role as a social worker, and providing training to other professionals on best practices. She believes in care plans that are rooted in meaningful connection and autonomy for the individual.

 

Catherine MadisonDr. Catherine Madison, Neurologist, Seniors At Home

Dr. Madison is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in dementia care. She envisioned and developed the Ray Dolby Brain Health Center at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Madison helps Seniors At Home clients with cognitive impairment and their families as they navigate the practical elements of long term planning with a dementia diagnosis.
