SUMMARY:Memory Cafe in San Francisco—2/9/2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a docent tour of a special exhibit\, Manet & Morisot at the Legion of Honor. It is the first major exhibition dedicated to the artistic exchange between French Impressionists Édouard Manet (1832 – 1883) and Berthe Morisot (1841 – 1895). Manet was the era’s great pioneer of modern painting\, and Morisot\, the only woman to exhibit under her own name in the original Impressionist group. Unfolding over a period of 15 years (1868 – 1883)\, this exhibition traces the evolution of a friendship between two groundbreaking artists. \nHandicapped parking will be available in the front and north side of the building and will be marked. Here is a link to a map of the parking: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZyczauNSYRDawtkD_lsZcr1Ss_z8zz2F/view Please enter the building through the glass doors on the North side of the building off of El Camino Del Mar (labeled “Terrace Entrance” on the map). ** Please note the main entrance will be closed. \nRSVP in advance by February 1st.
