Enjoy a festive drum-along and sing-along experience with music therapist Kathy Quain. \nCaring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses\, family members\, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment. \nAbout this outing: Music therapist Kathy Quain will lead the event with some favorite songs and plenty of opportunities to drum along. Research shows that music experiences can enhance social and emotional skills as well as assist in memory recall and language skills. So come have a fun\, healthy time! Whether you just tap your toe or drum along\, be as active as you would like as you enjoy the company of friends. \nMarin Memory Cafe meets on many Thursdays at different locations throughout Marin.
