SUMMARY:Memory Screening Day at the JCCSF -- 2/11/2025
DESCRIPTION:The Seniors At Home team is pleased to provide a day of complimentary memory screenings for the community\, in partnership with the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF). \nConcerned about possible memory loss? Be proactive about your brain health. \nMemory screenings are confidential\, one-on-one sessions with a trained professional intended for those concerned about signs of memory loss. Each session includes short activities and a conversation. A screening will not generate a diagnosis — however\, it can provide reassurance\, a thoughtful conversation\, and/or direct you to next steps.  \nWhy screen now? It’s never too early (or too late) to make lifestyle changes that can affect your overall health. In addition\, your screening will establish a baseline for future comparisons.  \nScreenings will take place in-person at the JCCSF from 9:30am to 5:30pm. Registration is required. REGISTER HERE \nThe screenings will be provided by Dr. Catherine Madison\, Staff Neurologist\, Seniors At Home\, and Andrea Korsunsky\, BSW\, Director of the Center for Dementia Care and Care Management\, Seniors At Home.
