DESCRIPTION:Bring your walking shoes and join us on a tour of the expansive Cedars property\, including the Cedars Textile Arts Collaborative. We’ll see the sheep and goats that provide the natural fibers used for their textiles. Note: This outing includes a lot of walking and the landscape is hilly. \nCaring for a loved one with memory loss doesn’t have to be a lonely job. Memory Cafe is a gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers (spouses\, family members\, or friends). Enjoy time with your loved one and meet others who are dealing with similar issues in a supportive and welcoming environment. Participants must be accompanied by their caregiver. \nAbout this outing: Cedars is an organization founded in 1919 that supports adults with developmental disabilities and offers a variety of programs. To get to Cedars\, go to Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery at 2500 Fifth Avenue in San Rafael. Enter the cemetery gates\, turn left and follow the road around staying to the middle. Take the first right after you see Cedars sign. \nMemory Cafe meets on many Thursdays in Marin at different locations.
