An event every month that begins at 11:30am on day Third of the month, repeating until December 19, 2019
Third Thursday—Lunch in San Mateo
When: 11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Where: Saratoga Square Park, 1094 Yates Way, San Mateo, CA 94403
We will enjoy a delicious lunch in the park, followed by a fun outdoor activity.
On nice days, we will eat under the shade trees at Saratoga Square Park in San Mateo. Along with a delicious lunch provided by Village Hummus, we will have a different “park-like” activity each week to enjoy while we partake in the beautiful surroundings. When the weather does not cooperate, our lunch will be moved inside to Village Hummus at 1001 Park Place, San Mateo.
The monthly cost for the Memory Café is $20, charged whether participants attend one or more events in the month.
The Memory Café is a weekly gathering for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and their caregivers—spouses, family members, and friends. These gatherings and activities are created to benefit the person with dementia as well as those providing care, and the activities are designed to engage and support both simultaneously.
