To Life! Words, Images and Music to Honor Palliative Care

Join us for a special evening with Anne Germanacos, Jami Sieber, & Redwing Keyssar as they create an experience in light, music, and language to honor the work being done in Palliative Care in our city, through Jewish Family and Children’s Services.
Anne Germanacos is a San Francisco born writer and educator. Her novel, Tribute, chronicles the daily life of a woman whose mother is dying. Anne runs the Germanacos Foundation and was an Artist-in-Residence at the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts in the fall of 2015.
Jami Sieber is an electric cellist and vocalist who has performed her original compositions around the world. Jami has taught numerous workshops with Redwing Keyssar, JFCS’ Palliative Care Director, using music as inspiration for deep healing work around our relationship to death and dying, life and living.
Redwing Keyssar, RN, BA, Author is the Director of the Palliative Care Program at Jewish Family and Children’s Services. Her book Last Acts of Kindness: Lessons for the Living from the Bedside of the Dying was awarded a 2011 Book of the Year Award from the American Journal of Nursing.
