Disaster Preparedness/Emergency Preparedness is the process of planning and taking actions to reduce the impact of disasters, whether they are natural or human-induced. It involves preparing both physical and digital assets, such as food, water, medicine, documents, and backups. This class will cover the physical, digital, and communal aspects of disaster preparedness and how they can help us recover swiftly and efficiently.
