Caring For a Loved One Who Has Dementia

Join us as we explore current best practices in dementia care and create a network of support for you in your role as a family caregiver.

In this engaging workshop, you’ll learn specific strategies for maintaining a meaningful connection with your loved one who has dementia. We will focus on communication and care techniques that enhance your loved one’s strengths and fulfill their basic human need to feel valued.

Led by:

Andrea Korsunsky, BSW, is the Director of the Seniors At Home’s Center for Dementia Care and has worked with older adults with memory loss for over 12 years. She is dedicated to partnering with family caregivers in order to find ways for them to connect emotionally and support quality of life for the individual with dementia.
