What Attendees Say
“Recently, my mother was diagnosed with dementia. For several years before her diagnosis, I had noticed various changes in my mother’s personality and behavior; so while I was deeply saddened, I was not surprised at the diagnosis. However, I found it extremely daunting and challenging – I did not know where to begin or who to turn to. I thought, “What do I do now?”
Around that time, I attended “Dementia Awareness: A Path For Families” put on by Seniors At Home. The panel of experts were so kind, thoughtful, and they provided excellent information. I even attended a second event to learn more! I now have a better understanding of my mother’s dementia and have also begun utilizing the resources and services that they made known.”
